First Presbyterian Church of PHilipsburg

Welcome

If you are seeking to be a part of a church family powered by the good news of Jesus Christ, then come, get to know us. All are welcome.

We are four generations of glad and grateful people trying to live generous, grace-filled lives. We will happily and lovingly widen our circle to include you in our faith family as we worship God, love and serve our neighbors, and walk through this life in communion of the Holy Spirit.

Our Mission Statement

As the Presbyterian people of faith in Philipsburg, we are called by God to grow the future of the church, meaning we are live Christ’s example by loving all people and accepting them for who they are.

We are called to encourage and support people, to nurture their faith, and to share joyfully and abundantly as Christ has shared with us.

God’s timing is not our own; we must be present for others, patiently persevering in prayer for and with them. Questions are welcomed, people are loved, and trust is valued in this faith community.

We are centered in the Word, and we are supported and challenged by it to grow in faith and to care for the world around us.

This is the Goal:

We are on a journey of faith to live in a more Christ-like way, because we know we are not perfect people.
